Although lamb is typically served with mint sauce, it also tastes well with chicken, hog, duck, or turkey. It's even nice to toss some fresh peas with mint sauce!
Components
One and a half tablespoons of white sugar
two tsp of hot water
1 1/2 cups freshly chopped fresh mint leaves
One and a half tablespoons white vinegar
One pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Pour boiling water into a bowl, add sugar, and stir until sugar is dissolved.
2. In the bowl, add the chopped mint, vinegar, and salt. Stir everything up thoroughly. To let the flavors meld, set away for 45 minutes.
